Photo dump

Just a few photos from our goings on.

Liam got a new toy thanks to Lydia! We LOVE having Riley being one year, one month, one week, and one day older than Liam. They will soon be fast friends as they have no choice. ;)

Liam's 3rd portrait picture is a bit delayed this week. Sorry!

Also, baby decided to start his latest tricks on the same day.

Baby rolls over!

Baby laughs!

Third out of Fifty

The next book must taste really good because Liam insists on putting it in his mouth...always.

If you give a mouse a cookie by Laura Numeroff

We got this version for Christmas from Aunt Carole who lives in Gettysburg.

We love it Aunt Carole, thank you!

Second out of Fifty and then some

The second book on our 50 books to read before you're 5 is....

Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton.

Liam has been a Boynton fan since birth!

Our little pterodactyl baby.

We also got our January Citrus Lane box this week. Thank you Grams!

One last gem from today...a baby in mittens? Yes please.
His thumb was even in the right spot.

2/52

The second week of the portrait project.

Some more from this day.

Look at that belly!
We got Liam an amber teething necklace. It helps relieve pain from teething by warming from his body heat and releasing healing oils; he does not chew on it. He has not cut any teeth as of yet but we are ready when he does! I really have noticed a difference in his mood and I believe it is from the "voodoo" necklace, as Robbie likes to call it.

First out of Fifty

I have yet another blog project I'm pretty excited about!

Around Christmas I picked up a list of 50 books to read before you're 5. Naturally I looked through it to see how many I had already heard of/had at home. The grand total? 8. 8 out of 50. We've got 4 years and 7 months to make up for the other 42. I love that. I love knowing that we get to look for these books for Liam throughout our life journey, get some for birthdays, Christmases, and anywhere in between. I love the expectations I have for growing Liam's library.

First up is The Mitten by Jan Brett. We've been reading this one all winter and got it from the book shower my work friends through for me.

Shower pictures from May 20, 2013 from my worker women.

I cherish so many of these friendships and miss the daily interactions we shared. Being home with Liam is absolutely the best job I have ever had or will ever have. We visit preschool frequently enough and continue to see favorites often!

Some other loves.

1/52

This week I found out about an awesome project for the blog. Take one portrait of the baby every week and post it. My most favorite part I heard about this project was doing this because "the days are long but the years are short". Being more intentional about taking portraits of the baby would be such a fun keepsake at the end of the year. So for week one, we have...

Some other photos from this week.

She loves a good warm spot!
Also, I love a good baby hand picture.

This might be my favorite from this week. I love having reminders of friendly 7 year old visits long after they've gone.

Blurry but Liam is proving that a happy baby spits up a lot!

We're snowed in!

Ok, not really, but there is about 2 inches of snow in the grass and it's gonna be like, 9 degrees tomorrow...DURING THE DAY. Hunker down Tennessee, winter is here (rolls eyes). Well until Saturday at least, then it'll be 59.

Nothing thrilling has happened around these parts. Well we did go on a day date yesterday and saw a movie, first time in about a year. Lots of baby loving on and spending time together. Robbie goes back to work this week, we've loved our family time this break!

Picture round up for you.

This was his "what?! It's 2014?" face.

That's our start to the year. Hope yours was a peaceful one as well!
