Sixth out of Fifty

Since spring is beginning to make itself known around these parts, most days, I have been gradually switching Liam's book along with the seasons. Very preschool teachery of me, I know.

The sixth book on the list of books to read before you turn 5 is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

We.Love.Eric.Carle.

13/52 and then some

I've made our wooden floors a bit more comfortable by adding foam tiles and a yoga mat to where Liam frequently plays. I'm still scouting out a good location for the adorable Eric Carle ABC floor tiles but these are them.

We've been hanging out a lot in jammies I reckon.

This was when spring looked weird.
Very weird.

We've LOVED our Honest Company free trial diapers this week. They have the cutest designs and are super absorbent!

New

Liam has a new trick.

He peek a boos.

Also he thinks the silliest things are hilarious. Like the blinds pull hitting the window.

12/52 plus a laugh

Images this week taken on my iPhone.

He laughed for the first time without being tickled. So I did what any parent would and kept throwing the stuffed animal at his face to get him to keep laughing.
He loved it. I promise.

7 months

Time truly does fly. Liam is a blessing and I love our little family of 3. To semi "celebrate" this milestone, I'm posting all of his monthly photos from month 7 back to 2 days old.

Our first day home from the hospital-2 days old
Swoon.

Just cute

He's just cute. As we are having a night filled with throw up from the little one, reflecting on the past two days of normal joy feels good.

Oh I feel like I should warn you, this post contains nudity (of the baby variety).

Selfie?
We got our monthly Citrus Lane box on Monday. We've broken into everything already!

This WAS the pouch of baby food from the box.

It bought Liam a full night of sleep again. Boy how I miss those nights.

The bath after the pouch

Fifth out of Fifty

Fifth book on the list of 50 books to read before you turn 5 is....

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr and John Archambault

Might I add we found it at TJ Maxx for $4.50. Score.

10/52 plus

I'm a little behind I think. But here goes.

We see this face a lot. He's a mouth breather with a stuffy nose right now.

We went to the Trevecca baseball game and got to see our favorites! Becky and her babies!

Thumbs up for Trevecca's wins!

I created!

I went to a baby shower this weekend for a girl I used to work with at the preschool. She is having a boy and I am thrilled! Everyone has been having girls. I wanted to make her something rather than just do the whole registry thing. I'm so glad I did. She loved it and I loved giving it to her.

I found the cute bow tie fabric and Joann and the minky dots at Hobby Lobby. The fabric cost was about $14 and 5 hours of my inexperienced time spent with Kathy Meyers (THANK YOU!) mostly spent figuring out how to cut the fabric. But the finished project is super cute and Liam loves his blanket already. I hope Everett will do the same!
